Bosaso College (BC) is a private university in Bosaso, the commercial capital of the autonomous Puntland region in northeastern Somalia. It is one of the newest colleges in the territory. ==Overview== Bosaso College has its origins in the Bosaso College of Training and Computer (BCTC), a local vocational training college established in 2006 by a group of Somali intellectuals and educators in Puntland, including Abdirahman Farah Ali (Sudeysi), the university Dean.〔(Bosaso College of Training and Computer (BCTC) Bosaso-Puntland Somalia )〕〔(Bosaso College - About )〕〔(Bosaso College - General Information )〕 Funded with assistance from the Muslim Aid (MA) international development organization, BCTC's collegiate staff is part of MA's larger group of educational programs.〔〔 The College has a student body of more than 400 students, a number said to have risen three-fold by the 2008/2009 school year. 15 professors and tutors from the Somali community and other countries currently make up the university's teaching staff.〔
